After almost two years of owning a $2k Samsung 8K TV, it gave out. They tried to troubleshoot the issue and that didn't work. They did offer me a new 4K TV but when I said that I wanted to stick with 8K, they sent me a check and it arrived within a week. All of this happened over Thanksgiving weekend and the following week. I will always purchase a squaretrade warranty for anything new that I buy.

I had the misfortune to have to use the insurance for a laptop issue, my support person and the techs who fixed it were great. so good, that I purchased their protection on a tv last week. small price to pay for the peace of mind. highly recommended
