Purchased a dog of a laptop from NewTechies on eBay (certified refurbished) & ALLSTATE replaced components & attempted fixes (2-year warranty came w/laptop purchase).. Unfortunately, the laptop had insurmountable issues & I was able to get reimbursed by ALLSTATE for the purchase price of the laptop; the optimal solution. Purchasing a refurbished laptop from eBay was the biggest mistake but because ALLSTATE covered the laptop, I was able to get restitution…and very, very thankful for that. It was easy to file a claim. Curteous and efficient customer service.
Resolved the issue by complete refund for price of item because it couldn’t be repaired. Lost sales tax and cost of extended warranty but I was pleased .
