I fin that today that most products do not last as long as you think they might so purchasing a protection plan is a no-brainer. For example I bought a headset a year ago and bought a protection plan. With decent care the headset still broke so I was able to use the plan to get a completely new headset for a fraction of a the cost plus the price of a new plan. Great customer service every time
I had a 14 month old flat screen TV that started getting horizontal lines all through it. I went through all the trouble shooting suggestions that were suggested and nothing cleared it up. Even resetting the TV back to factory settings did nothing. I provided the required pictures and documentation and Allstate was there for me. I purchased another TV and you can bet that I have an Allstate warranty on it.
