I think it’s a wonderful community. One bright and cheery even in the memory care, a lot of the places we looked at were not as bright in the memory, but my loved has a bright and cheerful. My dad thinks it’s really good quality food. The staff is very, very nice. It’s the nicest and the best. There are always going to be issues and we are finding some issues, but nothing that is threating my mother’s care. There’s a lot of staff changing. My mom’s care is very good. I think people find this community very cheerful.

I don't have any experience with other places but I think it's a really good value. The care has been good. I think that there were some hiccoughs, understandably. When my mom first got there, there was some confusion but that all taken care of quickly. There's lots of activities and they are just right for my mom. My parents were there and that was good for a period of time and then when my father's dementia got worse. The problem was not so much the caregiving but the difficulty of the situation. The cleanliness was very good. There were activities available and dementia ones. My father didn't participate but they brought them to musical events with in the larger community. They had partitioned off the dementia care but they would try to bring them in for any activities in the community. They were very inclusive that way.

I looked at this place but it was too far from home. I was close but not close enough to where I could run up on the way back from home and also run errands and things. I seemed like a very nice place. It was good but it's a matter of what you're looking for and I needed something closer.

Everyone was very nice here and I think they have a wonderful program. I certainly liked it better than Fremont Hills but it was not what I was looking for. I did not think it was a good fit for my parents.

My experience is limited to the memory care unit only. My Mom was unique in that she was mobile and had not yet lost her ability to reason... she could not live on the assisted living side as it was not secure. The room size was okay ... I moved her from her home so the room was completely tricked out with her own things ... that was as not the case for many of the other residents. We like to hear feedback because it helps us to evaluate opportunities for improvements and teachable moments. As you mentioned, your mom was somewhat unique in her needs and we appreciate that she enjoyed her own apartment.
It looks clean on the surface and to me the staff were all smiles, but they didn't treat my mom well at all. Pacifica Senior Living was the worst. When I picked up my mom for there, she smelled of urine, very soiled diaper, and her clothes were dirty. I cleaned her up and took her straight to the emergency room. She was suffering from dehydration and had a UTI.

There is no easy response other than to apologize if our staff members were not as responsive as they should have been to your mother’s needs. You will be pleased to know that we have had staff turnover because it is important to us that we ensure that our staff are both caring and attentive in aiding our residents.
Food is one of the few pleasures for seniors and it is not very good People need to know that the majority of the people at this facility are impaired mentally or physically. This limits the ability to make friends and enjoy activities
