Good quality carport. Installers were great and very professional. Scheduling department not very good. We were told they would not schedule the building until they had at least $20000 in sales in the area. Sales person ****** told us it would be installed within 4 weeks. Not so, After several call to schedule the building & try to encourage them to get it started as promised, I spoke with the scheduler whom told me they were waiting on us to call to let them know the site was ready!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! The dealer was awesome, the rest of the experience was a nightmare. I was told it would take up to two days to build the carport, it took 11 days. They lied to me and gave me the runaround. They came up with excuse after excuse as to why they could not finish the job. They left my carport unfinished to go finish other jobs for other customers that were in line after mine. They left trash all over the work site area and metal screws everywhere. If I could give zero stars I would.
The carport is made very well so they have a great product. The Salesman was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us. The guys who brought it and installed it were very good and knew what they were doing. As for the the office staff that sets up the delivery they have no idea how to do their job. Left messages with a fax number to call them back so you couldn't get a hold of them. Set up delivery for a certain time and then they showed up 4 hours early without any notice. They are the most terrible company I ever dealt with. They lied to knowing I knew nothing about an overhang. They took a vantage of the situation so now I have a overhang that will not fit my boat, and this is ***************. they are not known for good customer service.Would not refer this company to anybody American made carport
Great job on the initial installation, but they did not have my walk-in door and promised to bring it later. In about two weeks they showed up with the wrong door. I was told it might be another week before they could bring the correct door. Since then, I have had very little communication and no indication of when they might bring the correct door. I can understand delays and tolerate them as long as I know what is happening, but this lack of communication has me frustrated and concerned that I might never get my door.
Dealer is awesome our second building we bought from him. Customer service leaves much to be desired, she lied about install date twice, then when I called her out she blocked my number and I couldnt reach CS anymore. My dealer went over her head to her boss which handled the install date and got my shop installed. The crews are very quick and friendly. They left a perfectly built building and cleaned up the site once done. This companies only issue is the girl who answers the phone in ******. She is ruining the company name... read more
I loved our building that we did buy. I enjoyed working with the dealer that we worked with. However, when it came to dealing with American steel carports directly to schedule the delivery and the set up of our building, their customer service was probably the worst I have ever dealt with. They lied to me multiple times. When the installer came to install my carport, he had informed me that I had standard anchors and that I had declined the wind warranty. My contract specifically states I was to receive concrete anchors and the wind warranty. Now they wont respond. Buyers beware!! This company, not only will charge you u disclosed fees upon delivery, they wont honor their contract.
BUYER BEWARE. I WOULD RECCOMEND GOING ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. READ ALL THE FINE PRINT AND DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING. These "buildings" are anything but that. If you live anywhere with high winds and any kind of poor weather these buildings will not keep rain and snow out. I have photos of snow piled in on both sides of the rollup doors where it was able to easily get into the building with a bit of wind, more so, unless you go through and re-seal many missed areas with silicone or similar you will find water leaks consistently ... read more
