RecommendedAmherst staff were helpful, approachable and efficient. Process was such that our stress over situation was minimized. Due to Covid there are differences in procedures and all was explained and modified in a way that was understood. If you are planning to cremate this is the way to go and found having online provision for obituary a feature that we appreciated. Thanks to staff for their kindness and attention to the details.

I had to have my brother cremated via over the phone because of COVID. He lived in BC and I am in Winnipeg. Amherst was compassionate and very supportive. Which made this heartbreaking experience a little less painful. Thank you
Amherst allowed us to send them our son's own clothing so that we could come to Vancouver to see him one last time dressed and looking like he normally would. We were so grateful for this opportunity. They were kind and considerate. We lost another adult son 22 years ago. We found Amherst easy to deal with at a very difficult and emotional time.

Amherst seems very caring and polite
This has been a difficult year, with the Covid-19 virus we were not able to visit with our folks in British Columbia as we had honored their wishes that they live out their last days in Canada. The rest of the family lives across the border in the states. They both passed within weeks of each other in April/May. Amherst was amazing to work with, so kind and considerate. They put a lot of attention to every detail and assisted us with every step. Thank you so much, we are grateful.
