RecommendedCalled Amherst when my husband passed away and they were very accommodating . Scott came to the house and spoke with us. Never once did he try to sell us on anything extra if anything he encouraged us to get some of the extra things ourselves. The ashes were delivered to us and presented very respectfully. We had handouts printed by Amherst and they were very professional and well done. Thank you everyone at Amherst for being so professional and making a very difficult time much easier.

We used Amhersts services when our mother passed two years ago and now again with the passing of our father in June. They did every thing they said on time with warm compassion, and never once tried to upsell any of the services we signed up for online. I would whole heartedly recommend Amherst to anybody requiring funeral services.

After researching a few funeral and cremation companies, I decided to go with Amherst based on the many positive reviews, the Georgia Straight awards for Best of Vancouver, their very affordable prices and the fact that unlike many other companies they had their prices clearly listed on their website.
