I brought my cat to see one of your veterinarians last year because I was concerned about a bump on his ear. Your vet told me that it was small and wasn't something I should be worried about. So I didn't worry. I wasn't given any other options or choices to have the lump checked out. Today, my cat had surgery to have the lump removed at a different clinic. Turns out the 'nothing to worry about lump' is filled with Mast Cell Tumors. Who knows how much time your clinic cost my cat. My other cat had a lump evaluated at the ... read more

My Cat almost died because of this clinic. Do NOT take your animals here.. i took my cat Addie here because she was unresponisve and wouldn't move, and I was turned away because I couldn't pay $1400.00. You're supposed to want to help animals. Dr treated me like I was a complete Idiot and all she cared about was money.

Pro: They were quick to see my cat. He was diagnosed and treated appropriately. The vet tech was very nice and friendly. Con: The vet we had was not terribly friendly, talked fast and mumbly, and seemed rushed. Like a previous visit, i felt like they were trying to pad the bill as much as possible. It was a very expensive visit.

It's all about the money with them, poor care and we believe they missed diagnosed our cat, transferred to different vet and was discharged instead of being hospitalized like they were doing. The one doc treated us like we were stupid and didn't understand anything. Reason we transferred. Called to tell them what we found out and ask for some kind of refund for the dx being wrong and they gave us a whopping $45! We felt that was a slap in the face with 1000 bill!

Rally was a year old on 3-4-2017. She has a wonderful family that adopted her and is thriving. I get to see her all the time which is a blessing. It also brings really bad memories of what happened to her mama Reba, us and good friends when she and her six other beautiful siblings were born. We made a really bad decision in an emergency to take Reba who was in labor to the Animal Clinic in Rapid City, SD. They were the most rude, inconsiderate, money focused people I have ever experienced in my life. Refused treatment until ... read more

I have used this clinic for years, either as a primary or a secondary vet. Historically, I have always been pleased. Today was different. I brought my Siberian Husky in with gastrointestinal issues, that my home therapies were not fixing. When the clinic heard diarrhea, they had me keep the dog in the car until a parvo test could be done. Estimate $120 with office visit whIle we were still in the car. Then they wanted anoher fecal test and a giardia test to rule out parasites... another $63 . I explained that he grazes on g... read more

Business response:

We understand that it can be frustrating to leave your dog in the car and have the initial exam be conducted, and a Parvo test run, while still outside. Since the Parvo virus is prevalent in our area, and highly contagious, we take the precaution of having unvaccinated patients (as well as patients not current on their vaccinations) with diarrhea wait in the car until the initial exam is complete and Parvo test is run. This policy is to ensure the protection of all patients who enter into our practice. Diarrhea can be a sy... read more

Unfortunately I have only bad memories. Worst case scenario isn't always the right scenario.
