These guys are more worried about getting paid than they are about helping the clients/patients. It’s their damn job to HELP a damn animal in need of help, who could possibly have a situation worse than what anyone can know unless they get help with tests, etc…. But yet they are so damn worried about getting paid. My friends dog died 2 months ago because they refused to help her dog that was attacked by another damn dog that someone didn’t have on a leash and had flaps of skin and deep ass wounds and holes in his body. The... read more
Today my Mother, age 82 who is immunocompromised and on daily Chemo, took her elderly dog in to be seen by Dr. Christiansen. Upon arrival she asked the front desk receptionist if she was vaccinated for covid. The receptionist said yes. Another staff member beside her said she was getting hers tomorrow, while a third staff member stated, " It's none of your business if I am vaccinated". My mother then went back to see Dr. Christensen who came in with no mask. Again she asked if he were vaccinated. He said no. S... read more
This past weekend my cat woke up on Saturday and threw up a hairball- not a big thing he’s long hair and does this. Later that evening he vomited constantly for like a good half an hour soaked my bathroom floor and my bathroom rug in vomit. I called emergency vet and got him straight in he was still kind of alert but not himself normally he’s running around playing and is a great cat well they wanted to do bloodwork and x-rays and they said that on the x-rays they thought there might be a possible blockage but they weren’t 1... read more
After hours emergency, situation happened to a stray that was out of our hands, police department told us to go to this location, we were treated with hostility and rudeness.
Business response:
This was a very tragic situation with an unfortunate outcome. Situations such as these require us to hastily triage to minimize suffering. We apologize if you felt as though the actions of the staff were hostile or rude; this was not our intent.
Took my dog in Saturday because his leg massively swelled, charged me over $600 to tell me it was a slight fracture, had to take him back Sunday because of the massive tightness in his leg & the swelling was growing. They told me it might weep but otherwise it was fine, later that night his leg burst open to have blood and puss poring out of it, when I called they told me just pick up antibiotics but if I wanted him seen again it was another $250, took him back the next day at the vets request and he told me to clean it with... read more

Emergency vet the evening of May 2nd as well as all techs/receptionists involved during this shift apparently need sensitivity/empathy training as well as lessons in customer service. The owners should reevaluate their prices and payment procedures. After reading the Google reviews from other former customers, it seems my experience with the Emergency vet is commonplace. Very focused on getting paid and paid WELL, with little to no regard for their customers nor their beloved pets. I wish I would have opted for Dakota Hills... read more

My son took his 11 month old cat in Saturday around 5 p.m. for a small puncture wound to his cornea. The first vet tech he talked to was very rude. The second vet tech he talked to seemed uneducated. In hindsight, that initial impression should have been the first red flag but at 5 p.m. on Saturday there aren't many vet clinics open. David Christensen performed what they led my son to believe would be a relatively simple surgery to stitch up the puncture wound. They even suggested that the cat could potentially regain vision... read more
Lack of care and very unprofessional. Zero information at time of pickup and no actual vet anywhere to be found only vet techs? Why would you leave a large dog on bare concrete for days after surgery.
Took our cat into the emergency clinic around 8-9 pm and after being told what he needed to be saved was told they would perform NO MEDICAL CARE unless payment in full was received. After 4 hours of fighting for him and trying to find some arrangement was told he would no longer make it bc we didn’t have the money. For 4 hours my cat went untreated, no pain meds or any action other than a warm blanket was offered. He suffered the entire time as his organs began to fail. Finally after 4 hours they offered to convert our visi... read more
