What I like most about the Arbor Terrace of Knoxville are the staff. They are wonderful, the meals that are prepared are good and they offer a lot of different activities for us to do. They have things like Exercise, crafts, movies, guest singers and pianist, what's in the news, Bingo, Brain quest

The staff is great. My loved one's only complaint is the food, he does not like it. Otherwise, everything is wonderful at this facility. I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff members at Arbor Terrace are so wonderful - we have family that live in the area that visit quite often and they always have a good experience and always talk about how much our loved one feels as if she is part of a community or an extended family. She is very happy and satisfied with the meals and dining service. They have so many different activities going on - they do regular drives out to the country, and they take them to an art museum sometimes which our loved one really enjoys.

We picked this community, because the staff is more knowledagble, they offered more activities off campus, the pricing was clearer, and they had more options for the level of care provided. My loved one has really enjoyed being there, has made new friend, and is able to socialize more. They are good with checking on my loved one.

Arbor Terrace of Knoxville was my first choice. It was just a beautiful facility. The rooms were very nice. The ambiance and longevity of the staff really stood out to me, as did the friendliness and thoroughness of the person who led the tour. We chose a place that was a little less money and felt more affordable for us, but I'm somewhat questioning that choice now. . .

There is no hesitation to place a loved one here. The care and the longevity of the staff sets the community apart from other communities in the area. The care that my loved one receives is personally geared to them. The staff communication with the family is good. The community sends out updates to the family about what activities our loved one has participated in. They also are prompt to send out and honest about concerns that may be happening in the community

I'll start with a caveat based on some of the other reviews complaining of meals served on disposable plates, etc. Because facilities like this are required by law to take more precautions than most of us during the pandemic & due to staffing shortages that every single industry is facing, you are not going to find ANY assisted living able to serve restaurant presentation type meals on fancy fine dinnerware right now. Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine, but the reason we did not choose Arbor Terrace was because their memory care unit is on the third floor and we just did not feel comfortable with that.

The staff members here are very friendly, and the meals are pretty good. They activities are great, everyone there has been vaccinated so they are able to go out and about. It is a little expensive, but the services, friendliness of the staff and their communication is 100 times better then our previous community and completely worth it.
