We came in tonight (9-28) with a very scared and frantic pup after he had a circular bone lodged around his lower jaw (inside his mouth) it was very clear he was in a lot of pain and we could not remove the bone ourselves because it was VERY stuck. We rushed him to this clinic because he was in such pain. We walked in, one of the vets (or vet techs) saw immediately what happened, assured me he would be fine and took him back in less than 2 mins. Before I was even finished with the paperwork, They had him out of the room, bon... read more

Our 2.5-year-old German Shepard had 3 grand mal seizures in one day. After the 3rd we immediately brought her to this hospital where we were met by a vet tech within 5 minutes of arriving. They took her back and after about 30 minutes they came back up to let us know they wanted to keep her overnight. She had a couple more seizures while she was there, but they were able to control them and kept us updated every time. We even got a text with some pictures as she had to stay another night. I was expecting a crazy amount of mo... read more

My blind and diabetic rescue Lilith Fair (aka Lilly) was in dire straits beginning on Friday morning with profusely bleeding from her nostrils out of the blue. After a visit to my normal vet (who was closed on Saturday), they got her stabilized, however she stopped eating and became lethargic. The team at AVECCC was incredible with their updates and their lifesaving abilities. I'm extremely appreciative of the care that Lilly received, as she is comfortably back home and eating small bites of chicken and wagging her tail. My... read more

The Gilbert location is fantastic. The staff and the docs are so quick to move, compassionate and kind. I was a mess when I had to make decisions on how to best care for my cats on 2 different occasions. They were above and beyond the best especially when my regular vet could not get me in for 3 weeks! Thank you for making such a heart aching moment as gentle as you could.

Business response:

Lauri, thank you for your kind words. We know all too well how difficult it is to make important medical decisions for your pets. We are sorry for the loss of one of your sweet cats. It's never easy to say goodbye to a beloved pet. We are glad we were able to provide some comfort during this tough process and please don't hesitate to give us a call should you need anything.

They saved my cat with a very high BUN as a result of a urinary obstruction from bladder stones. She was in bad shape as a result of a delay in getting an appointment/care at my regular vet's office. The criticalists Dr. Galton, Dr. Caldwell, and Dr. Stastney were excellent and Stacey and Sam were my contacts when I called in for status updates. Mitch was my intake nurse.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your wonderful review, Karla. The qualities you described are the goals we strive to achieve for all of our clients. We'll be sure to share your kind words with our team. Thank you for trusting us with your cat's care. Please call and give us updates from time to time.

I brought in a very young kitten, Shane, with a high temperature. They took Shane in right away. The Veterinarian briefed me on all the options to help Shane. I left with Shane and some medication. He is now running around a playing like a kitten.

Business response:

I love AVECCC! They have taken care of both of my dachshunds and one of them, Frankie, has recovered from major surgery twice in their care and they have been wonderful! I really appreciated Dr. Pugnetti's compassion and care towards Frankie and following up with me a week later on his progress, your team is he best!

Business response:

Thank you for your generous feedback, Kayla! We will be sure to pass your message along to Dr. Pugnetti. Our team fell in love with Frankie. We hope your fur baby is feeling much better.

We had an emergency with our Jack Russel mix Rosco and the Doctors and staff took excellent care of us and him. We had to make the painful decision to not prolong his illness and suffering and Emily and Dr. Sparks were incredibly kind, compassionate, and understanding. Thank you for taking such great care of all of us.

Business response:

Thank you for your touching remarks, Sonya. Our entire team is thinking of you during this difficult time. Your pet was precious and we are honored to have been trusted with his care.
