I am a new resident, my first care home at 69 years. I wasn't sure what to expect but I am very pleased. The staff have all been brilliant and they have ensured I am included as a lot (majority) of residents are a lot older than me.

Ashwood Care Home and its staff are amazing. They care for all the patients and the family, seeing them through the good and bad times. It's very much a family atmosphere. It gives relatives peace of mind knowing loved ones are cared for. Thank you.

My husband's stay was brief, a couple of teething problems but dealt with immediately to high satisfaction.

The staff work hard to provide care under what can at times be very difficult circumstances. The home is kept clean and the residents enjoy the benefits of having an on-site kitchen to provide freshly cooked meals each day. I could not wish for my mother to be better cared for.

All staff who have become a family look after my dad, who has advanced dementia so well. They are kind, caring and patient, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend this caring home-from-home.

A happy place to come. Helpful and cheerful staff. Regular and clear information regarding my mother. Excellent furnishings with satisfactory doorstep appeal on arrival.

A lovely place with superbly friendly staff. The staff work incredibly hard under difficult circumstances most of the time. Despite my father's ailments and persistent moaning, the staff so an amazing job.

I have not enough words to describe the outstanding care Ashwood Care & Nursing Home provides for not only the residents but also the family members of the residents. Ashwood looked after my mum in the final 6 weeks of her life, every carer and nurse who we had contact with during this time were respectful, kind, extremely caring and compassionate.
