I would like to say a massive thank you to all the doctors/nurses/carers/chefs/cleaners/activity organisers and everyone who I haven't mentioned who looked after my father-in-law (and us) for the short time he was in Ashwood. The care you gave was amazing right up to when he passed away. As a family, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My nephew's dad and my brother-in-law went into Ashwood Care Home in Spalding on the 11th of July 2022. I cannot praise the staff enough, they went above and beyond with their care. Sadly my nephew's dad and my brother-in-law passed away on the 30th July. Once again thank you to everybody for your support at this very sad time.

A very welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Everywhere is clean and the staff caring. It has a homely atmosphere.

My father was transferred to Ashwood from hospital as he needed constant care although before this he never wanted to enter a care home he now does not want to leave it. He has constant attention, help, and care, he loves the food and the friendliness of all staff who even notice when he doesn’t feel himself and he says he could not cope with the loneliness and not being able to cope if he went back home. My uncle has lived here for some months and he is very happy, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for him but the staff have cared for him really well during his ups and downs. I am kept up to date with news etc and I can’t fault their kindness. I would like to say if anyone is thinking about a home for their loved one I would strongly suggest a visit.

Like many people, I was worried and anxious about mum going into a care home but I found the staff at Ashwood helped make it as stress-free as possible. They answer the phone and deal directly with any concerns, as mum says “nothing is too much trouble”. I am kept informed of any issues with mum either by phone or in person. The home is bright and airy, the infection control is thorough and the cleanliness is of a high standard. I find the staff cheerful and friendly and helpful.

Mum has only been a resident here for a short while but so far the care she has received has been very good. We've had one or two settling in issues but nothing major. Such a shame Mum isn't eating as the food here looks amazing.
