This was my first visit to Aspen, and I am a customer for life! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. My cat had not been to the vet for 4 years, and they took such great care of her! Dr Hewitt is wonderful.
I've had the same vet dr Jody hicks for almost 15 yrs now. We lost our 10 yr old dog in Jan then 4 days later my 15 yr old Persian cat. They showed so much compassion and empathy. The staff at Aspen Animal Wellness are always so kind curtious and knowledgeable. They all take such good care of both our dogs and cats. I highly recommend them for all your veterinarian needs.
3 months ago we went in for a checkup for Bernie our French Bulldog, he weighed 30.5lb, we were told by the vet that it would be best to put him on a nutritional plan to lose weight. He now weighs 25.3lb. We were also able to wean him off of his prednisone, he is a completely different dog now has more energy, is more active and much happier!! Was very impressed with every detail of the service that Emmi and I received , from obvious compassion of the staff to the unquestionable knowledge of our Doctor . All my questions were answered with complete clarity. Aspen veterinary is now my “go-to” in the Reno basin and I will happily share this recommendation with all my dog and cat friends .
My experiences with Aspen Animal Wellness have been nothing but positive. The office staff are welcoming the minute you walk in the door. Each vet I've seen for my dog has been wonderful, giving gentle and respectful care to my dog, and answering my usual long list of questions in an attentive and unhurried way.
