While I recommend Aspen dental in general, I've had a few unpleasant experiences during my visits. Pleasant: - both dentists I had were friendly, professional and made me feel at ease. - MOST DAs are friendly and helpful. - Hygienist is friendly and would explain the different steps she taking to put me at ease. Unpleasant: - appointment was at 2pm, nobody was at the desk until 215pm - my appointment was canceled day of. VERY UNPLEASANT: - DA (Erin) tried shoving the mould for my crown on the wrong side of my mouth- scratching up my gums. Instead of apologizing right away, she laughed and said "oh, thanks for the heads-up" to another DA. If she took just a second to use her eyes, it would have been clear which side the mould should have been going. She came back a few minutes later, asking, "did I really hurt you?" and an "oh sorry" with a light laugh when I told her she scratched my gums.

I really appreciate the professional and compassionate care that Aspen Dental in Bloomington, IL provided me. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel right at home. Dr. Rai thoroughly explained the procedures and answered all of my questions. Office manager, Julie Porter, went the extra mile to help me get financing through CareCredit so I could get the dental care that I desperately needed. Julie also took the time to carefully explain all of my options and made sure I understood my treatment plan. Every staff member that I encountered made me glad that I chose Aspen Dental for my dental needs.

The entire staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They explained my issues to me in a concise manner so that even my slow mind could follow them. Update will come soon as I am going back for work Thursday (1/24). Jokingly thank you for not trying to hold me hostage after find out where I work.
