IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I originally went to this place (at the end of March) because I broke a tooth and they were the only ones able to fit me in for an "emergency" appointment. I got asked repeatedly if I wanted to do the "new patient" exam, and I had to explain several times I was there just for the broken tooth. I got a few x-rays and I got told that I needed a crown but they didn't know if I needed a root canal; and that was the end of my visit! I WAS SENT OUT THE DOOR WITH A SHARP BROKEN ... read more

5/21/2018 Amherst, NH location. Had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Not much of an issue there. Dental ins paid them. Aspen dental said that they don't file for medical. I would have to do that. I did. The problem arose a month later when my medical insurance Co paid them instead of reimbursing me. Red flags started going off when the office mgr Kaylin was at 1st refusing to speak with my insurance Co without my approval. Good thing I was on the line with them and ok'd the conversation. They are the worst ever. Went to the one in amherst. The people were unpolite, you get no privacy, and at the end they give you this HUGE bill asking if youbwant financing when i have had no work done. Pathetic excuse for a dental office. Never go here. Terrible. I would give zero stars.

2 issues - 1) I set up and have an appt card indicating my appt is at 3:45, 1 week before I get an email saying appt is 3:30, 5 days before I get a text saying appt at 4:30. I left work early to get there at 3:30, and had to sit around for 17 min. before they took me in! 2) Billing - you have to prepay services, so I put a $75 down payment, with a balance of $60. But when I go there they said I paid $69, and owe $66. (I paid $66.) I showed up 2 days later with a copy of my receipt and paperwork saying $75 paid. So they owe m... read more

I'm officially done with Aspen Dental! This is the 3rd time I've been notified 3 to 6 months after services that I owe $20 more than what I paid when they make me pay everything upfront at time of service. So I gladly pay it asking why this keeps happening and " it must just be a discrepancy with the insurance" then I ask to get a quote on the further work I need and get told it's been too long since I was seen last so I have to get a full exam and can't be given a quote on a crown that I know I need untill then. Terrible staff. Doctors are good but the desk workers have a serious attitude. Not all of them but a good portion have a robotic attitude with no common sense. Some even think they’re queen of the office and can override doctors. They lost a patient and his family as a customer. They will need to make up for this if they don’t want to lose our business.

Though I was not really in Aspen (which was misleading due to my lack of geographical knowledge) this was the best dental visit I've had in years. That being said, I was immediately greeted by two rather attractive receptionist types who secretaried the hell out of that front office, let me tell ya. I was in and out in an hour or less up with confidence and down 1 toof.
