WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I'm already terrified of the dentist and they made it worse. Called to get just a cleaning as I go regularly to the dentist (as much as I HATE IT). Lady on the phone said they wouldn't do it until I had an exam and x-rays. The front office lady I first spoke with was a bit rude even though both my fiance and I had all the paper work ready along with our insurance cards (as we were new patients). I was so very scared to go to the dentist and because of that fear avoided going for far to long. This caused me to need extensive dental work that no longer could be ignored. As soon as I entered Aspen dental in Amherst I was greeted by friendly staff. The dental assistants were gentle, calming and great at their jobs. The girls took their time to explain everything they were doing and what I could expect. I have fibromyangia and tmj so even the easier dental tasks hurt me but not at aspen. Terrible first impression here - I arrived "on time" (12) but hadn't done my paperwork - I did print it out and brought it with me though. I filled it out and waited, and waited - 40 mins in I asked why the wait as I needed to get back but was told my insurance was closed (how does that effect the appointment?) - at this point I left. As I said, this was my first time and was arriving as a new patient - my concern is that if this is how they treat me now then what will it be like in the future - I have decided to go elsewher... read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. They also cancelled 2 appointments, were terribly rude, charged us for stuff we weren't supposed to be charged for, gave 3 minutes of actual time with the dentist, and was quoted twice as much for a root canal than my old dentist. Don't waste even a second of your time......

I am a new patient at Aspen Dental in Amherst. I have to say what a great team they have there. I fortunately saw a wonderful, caring, knowledgeble doctor who spoke with me and explained every thing needed to be down and why. She also took her time and answered all questions. Then I saw Michelle, a Hygenist who is very sweet and also informed me of everything she was going to do and kept making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. i would recommoned this office and its knowledgeable staff.

I've been going to Aspen Dental for my cleanings to maintaining my teeth and make them last for as long as I can. The only complaint I have is because I'm 80 years old and I'm down to 5ft.tall, I need a pillow for under my neck to support me when I'm in the chair. The last 2 times I was there, the one pillow they have was being used by another patient. I don't think I'm being unreasonable by letting you know you should buy at least 3 or 4 more pillows so one will be available at all times.

I will not be going back to Aspen Dental. I think they are too expensive and insist on doing things that might not be necessary.

I've been going to Aspen dental for years. I love the hygienists, dentists and office staff. Everyone is friendly and professional!
