I went to Aspen Dental in Auburn, MA on Friday with a severe tooth ache and facial swellings. i was in so much pain but i have delta dental EPO which they take so i was given a full mouth x-ray and other x-rays and consultation, i was told i needed to be on antibiotics for the infection and was also give two pain medications and they schedule me for an appointment for Monday morning at 8:30am but i have to leave a deposit a certain amount that reflects the total for the servi... 2 weeks ago,I had a broken tooth, they did get me in fairly quickly, BUT, after first saying they thought they could save the tooth, they then said, no, they couldn't. So, I could have root canal, (no thanks) or they could do a temporary filling and get it out on the 16th. In the mean time, they told me my gums had to be treated, so another trip, MANY shots of Novocain, my whole mouth numb, I couldn't tell if I was swallowing and hoped I kept breathing, gums packed with anti... Very unfortunate that I've had to change my review on here... I love the dental assistants and techs, they are the sweetest and friendliest people at the Auburn office. They remember you, and they take that extra step to make you feel comfortable and valued as a patient. Unfortunately, I've seen the negative affects of the franchise, and my problem lies within Aspen Dental as an entire establishment. I wish I could rate worse than terrible! My college age son went to the Auburn, MA office. He has always had great dental care, until he went here. We knew he needed a root canal, but when they were done his exam, they said he needed over $7000 in work done. They coerced him into opening a credit line to pay for all of the work. Work they hadn't even performed!!!! I had my son give me the printout of what the said had to be done. It is 1.5 pages long! What a bunch of scam artists!
