AVOID this place. As of April 2023, Aspen Dental no longer participates in any insurance. My wife & I have MetLife Dental Insurance which covers 100% of preventative care like cleanings. Because Aspen no longer participates, those costs are now out of network and out of pocket. If customers cannot change insurance in the middle of the year, dentists should not be allowed to stop accepting it in the middle of the year. It is cost prohibitive to change dentists. Came in today with a broken tooth. I haven’t slept in 2 days because of it. Made a appointment to come here. I wanted it extracted. They Did the whole routine and I explained that I was here on vacation and would not be returning for routine services I just needed this one issue taken care of. the dentist explained that she didn’t think it was a good idea because I was flying home in a week. terrible customer service surprise $$$ added to your bill the "if you have a problem you can come in right away" is false I wish I had gone elsewhere the only person who told the "truth" is the nice lady who does the relining and who at least tried to help
Absolutely NOT! My husband had dental work done back in June and the experience with the billing has been HORRENDOUS! About 2-3 months after his procedure where we paid our $95 in copays, we got a bill for over $500 in the mail. I immediately contacted my dental insurance company and they informed me that they were unable to cover because ASPEN DENTAL did NOT submit the proper documentation needed to cover the procedure. Worst dental experience. First they tried to sell me a deep cleaning even though the calibration tool used to determine if one is needed was not used and I knew that it was unnecessary. Then they spent the next 45 minutes trying to sell me different things and wanted me to pay for my cleaning ( 3 weeks out) immediately. It’s all about a sales pitch. Well I told them right from the beginning that I had a previous horrifying experience with the last dentist that I was at and they were understanding at first but the dentist that was there they pulled my teeth she was horrible I’m talking a nightmare my boyfriend was taping it and she yelled at him and told him to get out of the room just dragging her which I really don’t see how it was distracting her since he was on the other side of the room, but it gave her a piss poor attitude and towards the end she did have to pull 3... read more
