they were the most nice people they did every thing possible to make you feel as good as COLD in there but they were so nice they put four blankets on me. They dentist took time to explain each thing he did, and they worked me in so I did not have to go home and worry another night in pain. At first I was pleased. Now I'm pissed. I went in (knowing I had a few problems and was going to cost $$$). They tell you on their website and phone recordings"no surprises". Well, I had a root canal then a temporary crown put on. NOW, then dentist tells me he can't put a permanent crown on until I go see a periodontist which is going to cost me an additional $700! I was directed to this office through insurance. I explained while making the appt, I have anxiety issues at the dentist and was reassured it would be a pleasurable experience. I have been taking my 97 year old friend to appointments lately. Today she was to have two teeth extracted and a partial plate put in. We arrived on time for our 2:00 PM appointment. At 3:15 PM Joan was called back. Oddly enough, I was asked to come back also. We met with MELISSA HASTINGS, the new office manager, who told us the lady we had previously worked with was no longer there. Terrible practice here - just terrible. Refusing to do a basic cleaning because your condescending hygienist has put a $767 out-of-pocket-after-insurance deep cleaning on a treatment plan is awful. To make a patient go without any cleaning at all, especially when they are about to foot an $1100 bill for other more pressing services, is inexcusable, as is telling them "it's not about what the patient wants but what they need". My first two visits were great, the staff was so nice, Randi was a great dental hygienist. The major issue has been with billing. They submitted my cleaning claim under the wrong doctor who was outside of my dental insurance network, and I have been stuck with the bill ever since. My cleaning should have been fully covered by my insurance. My insurance representative spoke to the ladies in the office and told them that my procedure was completely covered.
