Been to two of aspens locations. Chipped teeth X 2
I had tooth pain and got an appointment with Aspen on Woodruff Road. They said I had to have an exam first. I paid, had the exam and the young dentist said what was needed. A lot! She left and the young man came and got me to explain the procedures and cost. The first thing out of his mouth was a quote for SUPER cleaning because of gum disease. Not a great experience! I am new to the area and called to schedule an appointment because a crown had come off. The soonest they could get me in was a week later and the receptionist explained I would need an exam and xrays because I was a new patient, but that there would be no cost because I was a new patient. If you actually want a dentist that cares more about your teeth then your money I definitely wouldn't waste your time here.
I went to Doctor Reynolds at Aspen Woodruff Road for a simple preventative procedure and, when the xrays and exam found no dental problems, the doctor and her associates discovered I need extensive periodontical treatment at significant cost, When I declined that, Doctor Reynolds decided not to perform the cleaning that I had requested, even though her corporate group had contracted with my insurance carrier to provide that service. Just tried to schedule a new patient exam and a cleaning for the same visit and was told it was not possible. I guess they don't want my business. I will find a more customer friendly dentist if that is possible that values my time as much as I value theirs.
My husband went to Aspen Dental on Woodruff Rd. to get a estimate on dental implants for his lower dentures, they told him they needed to get a xray first,after the xray they examined his gum stated he needed bone grafts, implants ,prefabricated abutments ,new dentures upper and lower and the cost for all of this would be $9,200.00. All he wanted was 2 implants for his LOWER dentures, I think they like to add all these other things to get the charge higher. I scheduled an appointment to have a cleaning done. When I got there they took me back took x-rays and had a dentist come in look at my uncleaned teeth and tell me what she thought. Then they took me to the office and tried to sell me on the services I need and wanted me to go ahead and pay.
