To start out, I have not had the best teeth. That said, I also have not had the best luck with Aspen Dental. The staff in general have been kind and they try to be understanding. I have had issues with a Dr.'s who refused to issue pain medication when it would have helped a great deal with a cavity while waiting to get in to have a root canal. Hadn't been to dentist in 15 years... while the financing is a bit outrageous for the boatload of procedures I needed (I am 50), I have overcome my fear of dentists and can't wait for my next cleaning! Heidi is wonderful and has excellent "chairside" service. Thank you!
Worst customer experience I've had in a very long time. Employees are rude and the level of unprofessionalism was incredible. I was completely ignored by the receptionist when I first came in, and actually saw her slam the phone into her cradle and yell at her co-worker who was trying to assist me! They also have absolutely no regard to patient's time. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour! I left without even being seen, and I will never be returning. Pretty crappy way to treat someone on their first visit.
Very bad experience. Schedule my appointment six months in advance, get a caall today they had double schedued and that I needed to reschedule. This has happened 2-3 times with the local office here in Ithaca NY. Emergencies I would understand, but these have all been mistakes and are totally unexecusable. I will not be doing any business with Aspen Dental any longer and will let family and friends know about this when seeking recommendations.
I usually have great luck with them but not today. Not happy I waited for over 45 minutes for them to tell me they don't have the right stuff to do my filling. NOT HAPPY!! My time is valuable too.
My daughter (a Cornell student) went for a visit and had xrays taken. Trying to get a copy of the xrays sent to our home dentist. Aspen office staff said they sent them (via snail mail) but our dentist hasn't received them. Why can't they be sent electronically like every other dentist does? WIll need to incur the cost and risk or duplicate xrays since Aspen will not provide them. I had a cavity filled here as well as a cleaning. The cleaning went fine and the (new) dental hygienist was awesome. However, when the actual dentist came in to do the filling, things went downhill. Absolutely no warmth and I didn't feel like anything more than an appointment. The drilling sent me spiraling into pain; odd because I have been fine any other time, and I was gagged multiple times by their carelessness. Look up real reviews in other pages and read about the class action lawsuit against them search the Lawsuit: Aspen Dental uses dentists as sham owners in illegal business model. It lists all my grievances, they maxed me out charged me over a thousand dollars in fillings and were misleading as to the prices anything costs, a tooth extraction ran me $1278. Seriously, one tooth problem, no specialist, I feel robbed.
This place is a rip off!! Went their to get a new denture plate. They kept taking xrays. When questioned as to why they said it was to "fit " denture properly. Than when I finally saw dentist all she did was recommend further dental work. Asked why I couldn't get fitted for denture plate that day. They told me it would be 3 or 4 visits.
