I have had experience with the Batavia office and Ithaca office. I can say that they are very different offices. Batavia dentist Lisa, has no clue in what she is doing, I went in for a filling and had an xray and she hardly looked at my teeth. Was told I'd either needed a root canal with a crown or it pulled and was charged $103, for her not looking at my teeth. I was not happy. I really think they overcharge in their prices. I have had great results as both the Ithaca office and the Horseheads office. I will be honest in saying between what my insurance has covered and my out of pocket payment- paid in full cash of thousands of dollars) the staff at the Horseheads office including all the doctors have been awesome, makes you feel welcome to their office and thankful for the fact you’re their customer. Miserable experience. Many of the stafff are unwelcoming and seemingly annoyed. Scheduled a cleaning over the phone and got to the office to find out I would need to schedule a second appointment for a simple cleaning. On top of it all the receptionist accidentally included paperwork with another patient’s private information on it, which is ILLEGAL!!
Waited an hour and half my last visit. Dentist was nice but spent about two minutes to say he is not sure which tooth is bothering me and referred me elsewhere.
Receptionist was extremely rude, disrespectful, and sarcastic to everyone she talked to on the phone and with customers I would not reccomend going at all..... if you dont enjoy your job find a new one or dont work with people!!! I have never seen someone be so openly rude to people at the workplace...giving 1 star because I cant give 0 stars!
Aspen plays with patients' emotions.Once you hit their doors, they viciously put pressure on you and play with your guilt regarding your health. I went for a cleaning, Aspen was an in-network provider with my insurance. After X-rays and perio chart, they tell me I need a deep cleaning on some of my back teeth. As a new customer and international student, I trust them and ask to see how much would it cost. They told me $300 out of pocket. The wait time is outrageous. I had my appt at 10 and never even got in to see the dentist until noon. They had filled my one tooth which I never had any issue with until after they did it. It got so infected so I went back to wait 2 hours just for them to tell me I needed a root canal.. you think they would of caught that the first time I went into have it filled. New dentures were made & they fall right out while talking The solution they gave was to load the dentures with adhesive, not how can we make them fit better Even with adhesive when you push up on the front plate simulating a bite the whole plate releases, Dr`s response was, bite with the back of your plate......GET REAL! How does this business get away with this ! You get one try to get correct dentures made or that's it, certainly not what they advertise
Husband had an appointment today. They took a Panoramic x-ray. Took 3-4 more x-rays on the right side of his mouth. Took a few more shots on the same side with something else. Wanted to go to the left side and take 12 more x-rays. The doctor refused to give husband care without more x-rays. Never have had so many x-rays without even asking if he had any problems.
