I like the clear, written explanation of charges, insurance that will be forthcoming and work that will be done before treatment begins. Then the charges are held to including the insurance contribution.

I had a 3:30 appt. though wasn't seen until almost two hours later at 5:30 pm. They said I didn't need to bring anything, although when I arrived they asked for the x-rays and referral in which I could of brought. They also didn't care that I was in pain and required that I either pay the balance that my insurance doesn't cover up front otherwise I couldn't be seen. I have had two issues with this office. Firstly I called on behalf’s of my husband to make an appt for wisdom tooth removal. I was surprised when your call center sales guy told me it was a special for extractions and it would be around $165. I confirmed, for a wisdom tooth? He said yes. Then After his appt he was quoted about $500 for it instead. After going in circles with Christine at the office, she offered us a discount and also promised to follow up and listen to the recording. You could not drag me back to this place. I filed a complaint of service and a financial complaint with my insurance company. When I get the paperwork from my insurance company, I will be filing a complaint with the CT department of consumer protection. The department of consumer protection said they would forward my complaint to the attorney generals office. Google Aspen dental lawsuit in NY before you do business with them. What more needs to be said?

I went to Aspen for the first time, hoping for a great experience. I had to go through all of the xrays, then the meeting with the dentist. I never met with the hygenist, like I was told. I met with the office manager, who told me what my options were, and what would be the cheapest route to better teeth. After seeing what my insurance would cover, and with their "discount", I would still need over $6,000 to finish all of the work needed. Atrocious service. Barely greeted me, sat me in a chair, shoved a TV in my face (without asking first), and left me sitting there for 45 minutes. Eventually got up and left.

Had to wait about 40 minutes for a 9 o'clock appointment, but expected that. Staff is very nice. After X-rays and gum check they informed me I needed a deep cleaning. This would cost out of pocket $2000. I asked for a regular cleaning, but was told no, because I didn't "qualify" for this and had to get a deep cleaning. From checking reviews on line this deep cleaning diagnosis is a common thing with them. I made appointment but then cancelled. Would have to put on charge card and did not want to acquire more debt.
