Today would have been my 4 visit! The three previous visits went great. I have a toddler and he is always with me. I never had any problems until today. I pay for my cleaning and wait for over an hour while other people where called ahead of me. Let me start by saying on the first visit I was very impressed the techs in the back were super, I actually thought I would get help. I had cancer 3 years ago the chemo burnt my mouth so bad now my teeth are in very bad shape and rotting and coming out. I was told immediately need to remove all and get dentures. I knew that was coming. Then I was sent up front to talk to Leslie I was told about my plan and the 5600.00 dollar bill that would accompany it. I was told my payments would be 142.00 per month. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE OFFICE MANAGER, LESLIE, TOTALLY MESSED UP MY BILL, MY CREDIT CARD, NO RETURN CALLS, WHEN I FINALLY GET HER ON THE PHONE, SHE ASKED ME TO HOLD AND SHE WOULD CHECK TO SEE IF IT HAD BEEN TAKEN CARE OF, I HELD FOR 18 MINUTES AND SOMEONE ELSE CAME ON THE LINE AND STATED SHE WAS IN WITH A PATIENT!!!!! I AM BEING CHARGED LATE FEES WITH THE CREDIT CARD ASPEN DENTAL FILED FOR ME, BECAUSE THE INFORMATION WAS PUT IN THEIR SYSTEM INCORRECTLY. I had a dental appointment with them recently they called me and canceled my appointment. When I called them to reschedule I could never get anyone on the phone. Now I have an excruciating toothache that I will probably have to wait God knows how long to get it seen about.
The billing process is absolutely laughable. It's hard to get someone to even call you back to discuss anything. I eventually had to file a grievance with my insurance company for work I had to have redone with a different dentist. My insurance company sided with me and now Aspen is trying to charge me more money for things that happened well over a year ago, when they assured me before I had a zero balance on my account. Maybe they'll see this and reach out to me to attempt to fix this issue but I'm skeptical.
Super disappointed in this company, while the office staff was polite, the nickel and diming was a problem. I’m glad I have a general understanding of what is necessary and what is an added expense. Very hard to get an appointment them, and having to book so far in advance was a problem. I also had to come back multiple time from x rays to the exam to the cleaning. I’ve had to fight with insurance to cover it, since I has exceeded my visits for the year!!!!!!! Having multiple people examining my mouth was an uncomfortable ex... read more
