I guess when the rep on the phone talks to you on the phone and takes your information so they can ask the office manager my question to get an answer and they'll call right back, apparently that means they won't call back. 3 days and counting (better make it 5 because I sure as heck won't be hearing anything at least until Monday May 22 and will probably be in regards to this review), spouse has been in an unnecessary amount of pain for 3 weeks since her initial visit and all that was done was pain pills and a referral to a... read more
Tripled price when they found out I had insurance. Was told dentures was going to cost around 2300 ended up being over 7000 and I would be out of pocket 4000. Total bs. The Dr himself came in was was there for literally 2 minutes. Didn't do anything to relieve my pain. Had to ask them for an antibiotic prescription.
I was told my appt was just for a check-up: wrong! I (barely) tolerated yet another cleaning of my teeth, and I know the previous cleaning was less than 6 months ago. When finished I was presented with a bill over $200. My previous appt was a checkup and I did not realize it was not included from a previous procedure. I paid for both that checkup and a cleaning that I definitely did not want or was told it was scheduled.
Was told and lied to by their office Manager that I would need a tooth removed surgically and not a simple extraction, after being quoted a price, she raised it by 60%, I paid cash, no insurance, the dentist performed a simple extraction, did not have to "cut around the gum" her quote. My opinion, office manager is ripping people off who do not have insurance. Aspen Dental will never get another opportunity at my business, furthermore I will tell as many people I can about their business practices, report going to BBB!
Everything was fine after we finally got started. The only problem I had was in the scheduling of my next appointment. The person making the appt said to me, "Six months takes us to October. How about the 18th?" I wrote that on the calendar I had in my hand. Then she handed me my paperwork & card. A couple of days later, I started getting the recorded message calls that I had an appt on April 18th! Be more careful!!!
I was written a RX for antibiotic that wasn't dated so pharmacy would not fill. Holiday so today was a wasted trip. National answering service could not page on call since my information was NOT entered in the system today. Would NOT recommend.
I broke my partial and went there for them to fix it since they had made it. Ordered a new one with impressions, etc. Came back next day (Friday) for wax fitting and teeth were too short. Was told to wait which I did for them to reset them. After 40 minutes they came back and apologized telling me that they couldn't do it until Monday. That didn't bother me too much.
