I left my other dentist because hey couldn't keep the billing straight! I thought I would try Aspen. The check up was fine. I will need a lot of work however that's not an issue. I went to the VA and they are going to pay for all of the work since I am a disabled Veteran. If you go to Aspen Dental PLEASE review your ESTIMATED TREATMENT PLAN TOTALS thoroughly. They sold me a $135.00 toothbrush without disclosing the charges verbally. Also, after my initial exam, they recommended that I get a dental implant. I took their recommendation and they pulled the tooth. I asked when will they put in the implant, they said that this was not scheduled or included in the over $2500.00 in fees that were already paid in full by my insurance and myself. I go for my check-up and cleaning everything 6 months, which are always good reports. I moved to Oklahoma and chose Aspen Dental to do my check-up and cleaning. I should have recognized the red flag when I was told, as I am booking my appointment over the phone, that they will do xrays and consultation on the first visit but no cleaning. I will NOT be going back to this place. I had 2 root canals done. They were pretty rough and I was sore longer then usual. That's not what upset me. When I went back to get my second permanent crown the doctor(I didn't get her name) she wiggled and pulled the temporary crown so hard she broke off my tooth. I understand accidents happen, but doctor quickly got another assistant and started doing some work in my mouth. They got a new mold for a new crown. Just had my first appointment Was fitted to replace lost upper denture and feline of bottom. 2 days later scheduled for wax fitting. Due to ice storm . Was unable to make it. Will write more about fitting later
My wife just needed a bridge. Dr Aronda Jones promised her that she could do better with micro implants, when she couldn't, and they kept falling out from poor workmanship, she crudely glued in a temporary bridge and fled the state. She took all our money, over 6 thousand dollars stolen, that we can't get back. And fled from Maryland to Oklahoma. She has done this to others in other states, just do a name search. Its been very hard to get clear answers. I call our local office and end up talking to someone in New York. Still no one knows what to tell me. Its been over 2 months now.
