the Walmart. of dentures, avoid this place. do yourself a favor, go to a local dentist. there's is family dentistry and denture clinic 3 miles away on lovers lane. I stopped in at the westnedge location, Deidra said they would not repair my aspen made lower after it broke in half unless I had an exam and the doctor said they could be fixed. Made an appointment for check up and cleaning. Appointment time was 830. Did not get called back until 9 am. Took x-rays then say in a chair for half an hour waiting for the doctor. Was not able to get a cleaning, it was never scheduled and I was not told that I wouldn’t be getting a cleaning and now I can’t go back to the dentist for 6 months because they only cover one visit every 6 months. was really hoping to get my problem fixed but they could not fix my broken tooth as could not get my tooth numb.. was very disappointed and also concerned, they did file down the sharp edges so would not cut my tongue any more.. the price for the crown was going to be reasonable but the could not get to that point.. do not blame them but peraps they should also look into other ways like nitrous.. left shaky and concerned about as problem not solved.. my brother likes them and goes there to a location up in Traverse city,... read more
If you want to be charged for unnecessary procedures and treated like shit. Then this place is for you. The Dentist Ryan (also the owner) is a despicable human being, he's arrogant and rude. He interrupted me several times and treated me like I was a moron. Told my friends about my experience there and surprise surprise other women have had issues with this guy. They are always messing up billing also I don’t like how they don’t give new tooth brushes out when they should.My daughter always says her teeth hurt after they are done I thank one of the worst dentist we have been to.I was seen about three weeks ago and they were supposed to call me about getting my wisdom teeth out but they never did.
I went in for an emergency after breaking my 2 front teeth. The staff had me patched up and out within a couple hours, fabulous work. I was lucky that the damage wasn't worse!!
The portage location have a good dentists and hygienist, one big cons is that their prices are so high, they wanted $3000 for a gum cleaning which is nonsense, with an insurance that covers 80%, the amount went down ti $1000, which is ridiculous.
Dr. Ryan Hallbaurer is the worst and rudest dentist ever. He is very rough when working in your mouth and very rude to his staff. You could tell everyone was on edge when I was there, more than once. I even got an infection from a crown placement and he never answered the emergency phone call over the weekend from the answering service. I ended up in the ER to get my antibiotic and pain relief.
