I went into aspen for a exam/X-rays, cleaning not included. The office staff were friendly, and that’s about all I have to say towards it being a positive experience. a hygienist measured/checked my gums for disease. she starts reading off a lot of 5s and 6s, which means signs of gum disease. Tells me I have an infection in my gums and will need 2 separate treatments. At this point I’m in panic mode. For some reason, I get a message from Aspen at my email saying I'm Angie however, I've not been to Aspen for like 2 years because they never contacted me for keeping my visits for cleaning. They've dropped me twice meaning once I leave the office, I don't get the reminder emails to come back for cleanings. They did my well for my kids getting the wisdom teeth out. For me , meh. Still willing to give them a shot but I don't think I bring in enough revenue to keep visiting them.

Why would you possibly need two appts for a simple cleaning? What a waste of time. No where is that stated and it shouldn't be necessary, just take the xrays and do the cleaning the same day. People can't just be taking time off from work so you guys can try and sell unnecessary stuff when you are just there to clean teeth. You're the mcdonalds of dentist places and you can't even get that right.
The office manager is very rude and unprofessional. I worked there for a little over a year and it was by far the worst job I ever had. Patient's appointments would get moved around all the time. Having to collect money before the procedures were done and before the insurance claim was paid would make patients very angry when either would change from the initial estimate. While the service was professional, I found the checkout procedure with the office manager degrading however. I guess it is hard for her to empathize with someone that can't come up with over $600 for needed dental care. Of course she rolled her eyes when both credit places they used denied assistance. Why can't they set up their own financing to take monthly payments over 8 to 12 months on a debit card, along with a reasonable interest rate. Now I have to wait 4 months for insurance, heal from an extraction, and then schedu... read more
