Let me just tell y’all about Aspen Dental in Prattville . So I went last month for a cleaning. I sat in there waiting room for 3 hours before I got taken back and never saw a dentist! I gave them a second chance and went back again and was a dentist for all of maybe 10 minutes . She said that I had a cavity but since I wasn’t in any pain or it wasn’t causing any problems it could wait until it was causing me pain. My first visit started fine and the staff were friendly. I wanted a simple cleaning but all they wanted to do was to up sell me a deep cleaning, teeth whitening, electric tooth brush, and perscription mouth rinse. After I declined all these options of which the deep cleaning would cost me $1488 just to start they refused to do the cleaning that my insurance covered. So I guess I could get my teeth whiten for $299 but not cleaned. Do they really care about the patient or making a dollar.
If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. The assistant office manager, lady dentist,hygienist and assistants need to work in a better place. The ridiculously insulting, incompetent and lying office manager and the others are right where they need to be running this crooked operation. Run fast and run far from this so called dental facility. It is definitely not patient centered. It's $$$$$ motivated. You'd be better served down the street at the local vets office. waited over an hour on my first visit and the people are rude.
$4000 and 4 months later still waiting on a bridge 8/31/2017 Well bridge was installed today lasted one hour and it fell out. Have already contacted Neil the aspen regional manager, and the better business bureau, also my lawyer. The workers are wonderful, but management should be looked into because if one of my employees (as I am a service manager for a major car brand) spoke to a customer and treated the way I was, she would no longer be employed by my company. Customer service was null and void. I checked in and the receptionist didn't even acknowledge me. Sat on the waiting area about 30 min and when she did call my name to fill out paper work, there still was no greeting of any kind. Had a pleasant enough visit with the dentist and technicians assisting. A few days later I called to provide dental insurance info bc they couldn't find it while I was in the office. I went in for a free cleaning and came out with a 1200.00 bill and No Free cleaning??? All I ask is just be up front and honest next time....
Wait time was ridiculous. My apt was at 8, I left there approximately around 1010, and I felt like I didn't receive anything, not evening the cleaning, and that was the main reason I made the apt. According to the Dr. Dysart I received a lot. I received xrays, a physician's exam, and a dental hygienist exam. Mind you, all of that took all of 20 mins for all three.
