I usually hate going to the dentist but have never had any problems with this amazing staff. Great place and even better people.
I have had some very bad experiences with my dental care. I wasn't able to get into my regular dentist for a tooth abscess so I call Aspen. I was able to get into the office in 2 days. My first exam and 18 x ray films were free. The tech Dawn who took my x rays was very caring and gentle. She was great. I then went to the doctors chair. I only waited ~5 minutes before he came. RecommendedThe whole staff was friendly and very personable from the time I walked in the door. They explain to me what they were going to do and why and how it would solve my problem. I also lost an earring while I was there because I had to take them out for the x-ray and apparently didn’t clip the one back in. And they called me at home to ask me if it was mine and I thought that was very considerate considering how busy they were that day. I highly recommend Aspen dental in Stow Ohio

Aspen always feels to me like dentristry by assembly line. I had several frustrations with my recent visit: 1) The staff attempted to schedule me for X-rays more often than my insurance will pay (24 months). This is the second time that has happened, and the first time I was out of pocket for an additional $70. When I said this time that I did not think X-rays were necessary and I didn't want to pay the extra amount, the receptionist decided that I only needed a cleaning and not an examination. I have a chipped front tooth. It is causing me pain. It is important to note that this originally occurred in maybe 2009 or 2010. I didn't want to let the repair go, my Dentist was closed for a 2 week vacation. So, I went to a strip mall dentist near my home and it was repaired the same day. The repair was perfectly functional, but was not an exact color match. Our dental insurance changed so, I saw a new dentist in July, 2019. I had a crown placed on a lower molar tooth by Aspen dental. The first one they tried to put on had to be reordered because it didn’t fit. They placed another one on the tooth when it arrived. And here this new one didn’t fit either. My new dentist asked if I kept getting food stuck by that crown and I have. Even with flossing, food got underneath the crown due to the crown not fitting correctly. I was not aware that the crown wasn’t on the tooth properly. Very upset about how my visit went. First was told to show up early still sat there until my .org appt when there 30 minutes early. Told them why I was there and recommend me to someone else for a root canal so I thought I was done they decided to tell me I needed an electronic tooth brush and tried adding one to the bill without telling me and tried telling me I needed to get my “gingivitis “ taken care of even though I had a damaged tooth they couldn’t really work with or around.
