I went there for a consultation to see if they took my coverage. They told me they did. All I needed was one filling, after they took an x-ray they told me they did not file my coverage and it would be my responsibility to do so. When they told me the price of a filling which was over $850 I declined. Now they are harassing me for the $80 fee of the X-ray that they told me was covered. There isn’t a star low enough to tell people how much they take advantage of you. Bill you for anything and everything saying there is a great discount because of your insurance etc etc . Unprofessional, and I’ll mannered. Spoke to one person in the financial department and was given one amount then when I came in and without anything else being done it went up by over 140 bucks . Wtf is wrong with these people!!

I felt “pushed” from the moment they called me back. I was immediately taken to have X-rays done, but assured aspen dental would take care of it if I got a bill? If they are going to cover the X-rays (even though I offered 18 nite plate X-rays, & a full pan), then why would I even be bothered getting a bill. I then saw the dentist who had some good ideas, but as mentioned in other reviews. Extremely unprofessional office manager!! This office has taken advantage of my father and probably many others. Apparently everyone who is seen here has periodontal disease, but yet my father has only been seen by a dentist once in the year he has been going to this office?!? Any office manager who would hang up on a customer and tell them to “google” the corporate office number shouldn’t be in any position of management!! Terrible. Extremely Unprofessional. Totally tried to take advantage of my dad. And of course they told him he had periodontal disease, just like the other reviews stated. Funny, because the dentist he saw just 6 months prior to coming to aspen never made that diagnosis. The only reason he switched was due to insurance. He won’t be back. Just so you know, you'll probably have periodontal disease. You'll need the bacterial flush every 3 months....blah blah blah, before you get ANY work done. Privacy? You won't get any in Taylors. I really like all of the team @ "Aspen" Dental. everyone is so helpful and Doctor Carole Horvath is a wonderful doctor, I have really experienced a great visit there on Thursday with her. and Kristen that makes sure my teeth is always cleaned to the perfection means so much to me believe you me, I have tried various Dentist offices in the upstate and trust me no one is as great as ASPEN DENTAL! Terrible!!! Would NOT recommend. Went there to get a check up and they told me I had periodontal disease and That i would have to come in every couple of months for special cleanings for the rest of my life and it was gonna be like $8,000 every time. I thought that was INSANE and got a second opinion and the other dentist I went to said that aspen had blew it was out of proportion and that I only had some build up in my gums but treatment wouldn't cost near as much as $8,000.
