Complete liars and scrooges. They lied to my mom and told her that a procedure would be covered. It wasn't. They sat her down in the chair, did unauthorized work on her and told her she had to get xyz done or else bla bla bla would happen. she specifically told them that she could only do procedures that were covered under her insurance since she is absolutely broke. she can't even afford a payment plan, which they pushed and pushed for her to get, AFTER they did unauthorized work on her teeth and falsely told her the wo... read more
I’m having severe tooth pain and I explained this to the dentist and I was given Tylenol #2 which didn’t work and then I went back because the pain was so bad I was crying and then they gave me ibuprofen….which of course is not going to help me more then Tylenol #2!!! I tried aspen dental years ago because it was the only place around that took my insurance. The office and billing department is horrible, I’ve had so many appointment times changed or rescheduled. I just called the office this week to reschedule an appointment that was scheduled for today and they didn’t have the appointment in their book...yet I am looking at an appointment card that says differently! RecommendedAspen upsells all of their services while telling their patients that the services are necessary. Aspen performs treatments that they know insurance companies will deny (based on age) so that you get hit with a big bill after the procedure has already been done.
Waste of time. I came in for pain after a root canal and they tried to sell me over $1300 worth of unnecessary garbage including a $135 electric tooth brush and a $90 consultation fee just to see a doctor about my tooth problems. Don't come in here expecting to get anything done because they'll just ignore the actual problem and take unnecessary x rays each costing your insurance $30 and insist you take a full comprehensive exam costing you $80.
