Overcharged, and had to have 2 of the 4 fillings redone elsewhere. Don't go here it's a waste of money. Find a nice family business or even have a friend do it. You'll get a better outcome
I have the nagging, uneasy sense that all sorts of high-priced products/services are being pushed on me the few times I've been in for an appointment. I hope I'm wrong, but I have found products similar in quality to what they've offered for significantly lower prices elsewhere...other than that, can't prove anything, and hope I'm wrong about the service. Still, not good to feel any more nervous about going to the dentist than you already feel.
Everyone was very friendly, the only thing I didn't like was when I went to the counter, they added everything possible to my next cleaning appointment so I would have a huge bill because insurance don't pay for it. I had them remove the $139 toothbrush (I already have the same one at home).
This is the shady used car lot of the dental world. Do a Google search and see the various fines and settlements that have caught up to them. Bottom line is to bring in the most amount of money to keep the book balances up. Said I had several small cavities and needed a few crowns AND root canals. I knew I had a few cavities but don't know if I need root canals or not. Said I'd like to have the small cavities filled first before cleaning. Oh, no, the cleaning is more important. Shouldn't small cavities be fi... read more
Seriously... A family member goes in because their upper denture broke and you refuse to take impressions unless you extract 4 lower teeth.... Does anyone there follow the hippocratic oath of DO NO HARM. Quite honestly this is typical since I personally have been to 2 Aspen Dental offices and met with the hardcore sales pitch of attempting to force my hand to have 10k - 15k worth of procedures done. The excuses you gave my familly member that you couldn't get a bite with 4 of her lower teeth in was pure and total BULLSH*T ... read more
Initially I had called Aspen Dental in Watertown because I thought I had lost a filling in my front tooth. I got there and he told me I had chipped my tooth. (But, I will back up a minute.) I checked in at the ofc.and the x-ray tech called me in to take an x-ray. She drapes an x-ray apron over me and proceeds to tell me she is going to x-ray my whole mouth. I said, "Pardon me?" She said they 'have' to X-ray my whole mouth before they can do anything. I immediately asked her "... See More who is paying for all these x-rays? I... read more
There statement "we promise to listen to your hopes and fears we will stop at nothing to deliver an experience that is above and beyond what you thought about dental care" I believe they fell short on there promise. A simple explanation from a very caring place gave me the information I needed. Instead of getting angry because I didn't understand a simple explanation would have been nice. Now I will take my business to someone that does explain... What you didn't while I was in your office thank you.
Aspen dental is horrible. Horrible experience. I was in excruciating pain. I called and specifically told them that I was pregnant in my first trimester. They told me no problem, come in and we will fix you right up. I get there, sit in the chair and they said, oh wait, you are pregnant. We can't do anything for you. Left in just as much pain as I went there in. They still charged me for the office visit#!!! I called and complained and they still wouldn't drop the charge.
