Unauthorized Application HORRIBLE experience. Created an account to see what their company was about but ultimately decided not to proceed with an application. An application was then submitted anyway without my consent and I discovered it when I took a hard hit to my credit. Customer service was terrible and accused me of lying to get out of an application. Will never recommend this company and will be disputing the hit while reporting them for fraud.
Misleading offer I received a "prequalifiied offer" from AUTOPAY stating I could save an estimated $114/mo so of course I was interested. Applied and communication was hit and miss (more miss than hit). Was told I would hear back in a day, but it took 3-4 days to hear back. All refi options were higher than my current monthly payment. Where'd the $100+ in savings go? Credit ran for nothing. Highly advise not working with AUTOPAY.
I think this company is a scam Autopsy contacted us with a ridiculous prequalified letter to lower our interest rates on our new car. After giving their agent all of our credit information, he called us back to offer us a 16% loan over the 7% loan that we have now his excuse was it’s a new car and a new model. Very bad, pointless & cost points Shockingly bad. A million notifications that my credit was being pulled. Called them back a ton, no response ever, got called back finally 1.5 weeks later on a Saturday afternoon. Just one offer, over 100 basis points more than what I'm at now. Really poor service
Horrible Horrible communication. Was told I could get a lower rate and payment. A week later I get a higher rate and higher monthly! One day per text. Joke!
AutoPay deceptive practice AutoPay sends me a letter in the mail which states I have been preapproved for a refinance of my auto loan. They even list a new lower monthly payment, etc.as an enticement. So I go to the AutoPay web site and enter my information for a new car loan application. Proceed with caution. Bait and switch. After seeing the advertisement on credit karma I filled out their form. Like others, they lured me in, got all my personal information, hard inquiry, then dropped me stating I declined their offer. Absolutely not what happened. Crappy company service What a scam. I filled out the form on line after I received a letter to refi. I got an email that stated that it was in process. Later I got a text saying that it was approved and to call or text, I sent a text asking them to send me the info via an email or text, no response. The next day I got an email stating that I did not follow up the stipulations and that they could not do the refi. WHAT? I got no info that I needed to do anything. Enormous waste of time Turned my loan application down and couldn't even give me a reason why. 720 credit score, making $50k a year and been paying over the minimum amount for over a year with another loan servicer but still got turned down? And without a reason?? All of that work on my part just so this company could get all of my personal information for free and give me nothing in return. This is an awful, irreputable company that is not worth ANYONEs time. I hope they implode.
