I am so glad I am a patient with Avance Care Chapel Hill. As a patient in a larger body, I am accepted for who I am, not what I look like. I am treated no differently, regardless. Brittney Norwood is the best provider I have ever seen in my 33 years of life. Thank you Brittney for caring and being the best.

A thorough and thoughtful exam . All my questions were listened to with concern and respect for solving the mystery of my symptoms. Dr. Bean and I brainstormed about next steps in my care and since my exam she has been in touch through the portal to give lab results, directives, a referral and much reassurance. She knows her stuff and she communicates well and lights up a room with her positivity.

Excellent care every time I visit. Comfortable office atmosphere and friendly intake staff. Dr. Metz is simply a superb physician: smart, up-to-date, empathetic, efficient, kind. It’s clear her staff adores her, too—which makes for a cheerful atmosphere.

I enjoy coming to this office. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. The front desk, my provider Brittany, her assistant Rey, and Lin the phlebotomist are just wonderful and really inspire me to take my health care needs seriously. Thank God for them and all they do.

So far very kind and competent, easy to get a same day sick appointment. Very queer friendly but the office seems like it would be great for anyone.

From start to finish, my appointment was full of friendly, kind, compassionate, and personable people, including the woman at the front desk, the nurse who did my intake, my doctor, and the phlebotomist. I walked in feeling exhausted and irritable and walked out an hour later feeling like a brand new person, tended to with care and very blessed to be a patient at this practice.

Dr. Bean is very knowldegable yet doesn't hesitate to refer me to a specialist when necessary. She is kind and gentle and always remembers me. She knows my medical history, which is comforting. As a patient with an eating disorder diagnosis, I love that she does not require a weight and am more relaxed when coming to the ofc. I miss that she is unable to spend a little more time with me, though, since the practice moved and that makes me feel less special as a patient and a person.

Always a calming and reassuring visit at this practice where everyone--all staff and doctors-- are universally sweethearts. I drive an hour from my town to go there, even when I'm sick. Five stars!
