I toured this community with my mother and she loved it! It’s very beautiful and the staff was amazing. I really liked the one bedroom. It is the perfect size for my mom. Still in early planning but they are at the top of my list.

Avila is a great place. Very welcoming and great staff. Food is great, all residents are happy and excited. Restaurant dinning is the best. Christmas festivities where great and residents seemed super happy

The med-techs and caregivers are amazing. The staff are very kind and capable. Residents seem quite friendly and happy and make friends easily. Its all very clean and lovely and homey. Nightly movies in the theater is a great perk. Scenic drives are wonderful. Father adjusted easily and praises the staff. He's happy and feels at home. We are comforted knowing he's in good care and we visit him often and have gotten to know the staff and residents.

I would recommend Avila Senior Living at Downtown SLO. It's a small community feel. If you want extra special food, it may not meet your wants. But the food is cooked fresh and is planned by a nutritionist. You need patience waiting for food to be served sometimes. All of my needs are met and I feel safe.

Super positive staff. They learn everyone's name immediately. There are lots of fun activities. Oscar is a great Activities Director. Super upbeat, fun but also very caring. Really glad mom moved here!

The staff changeover is quite extreme. In just four months...the food quality has lowered. And they are low on staff in the dining room. And a couple of their best staff have left. They have a new activities Director who is energetic n happy and hopefully he will stick around. the med-techs are amazing. The staff are very kind and capable. Residents seem quite friendly and happy and make friends easily. One resident plays piano regularly. Its all very clean and lovely and homey.
