This was a fun date night restaurant. Pricey but it's worth it in the ambiance and service. We were there on a busy night so service may have been a bit slow, but everyone was very polite and eager to please. This was also the Bartoletta restaurant with the most vegetarian options. Good cheese plate too!
Another fabulous restaurant in the Bartolotta group. We have been to all of them and would consider this one the most elegant of the bunch.
Our waiter and the som were wonderful. The food was tasty and well presented. The ambiance was tasteful and good for a variety of occasions.
22 years of marriage
The food was perfectly prepared and the service was outstanding! Our waiter was well versed in the menu and gave excellent advice to my dinner partner when asked his opinion between two selections. My fillet was a perfect medium rare and my guest had the Black Sea Bass which she found to be terrific. There was a full house but we had no problem conversing, the ambient noise was very subdued. I highly recommend this establishment!
Top notch from the time we arrived until we left fully satisfied, may I add. Delicious cocktails at the bar with engaging staff. Appetizers, soup, salad, entrees and dessert were all superb, as was the team that attended to us on a busy Saturday night. The recommended wines for our entrees were spot-on perfect. My new favorite fine dining restaurant in Milwaukee!
We were entertaining an old friend from Chicago who was a very successful restauranteur. Our choice for dinner needed to have delicious food, impeccable service, and relaxing atmosphere. Baccahus was the perfect choice! The octopus appetizer was outstanding, pasta Bolognese was perfection, and crepes Suzette with Uplands cheese filling showcased the chef's dexterity with sauces, as well as an award winning Wisconsin cheese. Thank you to the Bacchus team for another memorable meal.
This is so far the best restaurant and best dining experience we have had in Milwaukee. If any restaurant is to be considered for Michelin candidate I would sincerely recommend this one. Nice atmosphere, nice seating environment, fabulous cheese selection and the waitress Amy was very upbeat and amicable. We enjoyed chatting with her and she made excellent recommendations.
