I was absolutely blown away. We were waited by Robert, and he is an absolute doll. Would and will go back every time I'm in Milwaukee.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and everything was exactly right the whole evening. This was our third or fourth visit and we will certainly be visiting again!

The ambiance was great and the service was extraordinary. Empty plates were whisked away promptly. The seating was such that we didn't have to listen to other's conversations. How annoying! Presentation of the various courses made them even more delectable.

We went here for our anniversary and had a a wonderful experience. Excellent food, thoughtful waitstaff, and great ambiance! I highly recommend going here for a special occasion or a nice romantic dinner.

The server was very nice; my only quibble is that he was not knowledgeable about wine (odd for a restaurant with such an extensive wine menu) and did not send anyone with wine knowledge to help us choose. I went to Bacchus after seeing the restaurant on the No Reservations TV show because I wanted to try the Strauss Veal chops. Dinner did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic! The Veal was just as described and the Foie Gras plate was one of the best I have had. Great local cheese and charcuterie selections. I also really appreciated the fact that Bacchus put a more interesting spin on the classic steakhouse formula by offering some creative specials rather than just the standard butchers cart with huge slabs of raw meat. ... read more

It was good to see John again. (waiter) As usual, the service, wine and food were all 1st cabin. A very comfortable place to dine!

They were just in the process of switching over their menu and there were several missteps (food timing, portion descriptions, etc). The food was terrific and the service attentive, though. I heard from others who have returned that the service is back up to snuff.
