Great food, good variety and wonderful presentations. All courses were equally good and contained complex flavors.
The food was ok, a bit on the small side this time round. Have been there in the past, and even had a catered event there. The soup, lobster bisque that night was the best ever tasted. It was quite cold in there for the ladies, could have been that one of the blowers were above our table. I am sure we could have moved to another table since there were plenty open. Would go back again. Too bad they do not locate their main dining room in the rental room, it has a view!
Our dinner at Bacchus was fabulous!! The food was outstanding and the service was superb. I split the porterhouse steak and it just melted in my mouth.

Our group always enjoy a lunch at Bacchus, so when December is here, we always try to get there. The food is always wonderful along with great atmosphere and service.

An excellent experience! The ambiance was fabulous, the food was superb, and the servers were attentive without being fawning. The wine list was extremely impressive, with a number of great wines at many different price points. It is one of the top fine dining restuarants I have been in... so great to have in a city like Milwaukee!!
Bacchus opens its doors for lunch during the holiday season and it is indeed a treat. With the exception of entrees, "lunch prices" are virtually identical to the evening versions of soups, appetizers and desserts. The food is worthy of the accolades this restaurant usually receives. Though out of tuna tartare during this visit, the Spinach Salad topped with a perfectly fried egg was excellent as was the Beet Salad with Arugula and Hidden Springs Ricotta.
