Wonderful place for a special occasion. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine selections. Menu changes with the seasons which keeps things interesting.

Our dinner at Bacchus was awesome. We went with the prix fixe menu and could not have been happier. The food, wine and service was superb. We will be back!

This was by far the best dining experience I have had in the city of Milwaukee. The food was exquisite while the service was exceptional and extremely attentive. My dining companions who hail from New York City, Boston, and Toronto were indeed impressed. They certainly know good food in great cities; Bacchus ranks among the best of the best.

We have heard so much about Bacchus from friends that have gone there for dinner and decided to try it for ourselves. A friend of ours that holds tastings/classes had recommended Bacchus because of their extensive wine list (over 800 bottles!) and for the overall experience. We dine at many upscale restaurants on a regular basis, but I have to say Bacchus is definitely in the top 3 for many reasons; their wine selection, amazing flavors in the entrees and most importantly their service. As we dined, we observed how the serve... read more

Our dinner experience at Bacchus was wonderful. We sat in Andy's section and service was top notch. We preferred to have Andy assist us due to his personality and making us feel comfortable. The service was staggered appropriate and we were not rushed. The filet's were tender and delicious. The asparagus soup was superb. The desserts outstanding. Wine and drink prices are much higher than other restaurants, but figure their profit helps pay for their rent. Overall a good meal and experience.

Bacchus is always a consistent excellent restaurant. From Beef to halibut to lamb; always prepared well with fantastic complements. Heirloom tomato soup was amazing. they have adapted the wine list to include some "new" grapes; malbec/carmenere etc, at more value pricing.

This is one of the finest restaurants in Milwaukee. The atmosphere is masculine, clean, and sophisticated. The service is precise. The chef is capable of perfectly executing difficult dishes. At $65 per person, including wine pairing, for a four course tasting menu of this caliber is an outstanding value. Top notch, highly recommended.

This was our first upscale dining experience in Milwaukee. We are new in town. We really found our night in Bacchus a pleasent experience. The food (especially the quality of ingredients and presentation) was super. The service was a tad too friendly, asking every 5 minutes" how is your food"? was a little annoying. The coffee service and quality could : should improve. Overall, we will go again...:)) Canan & Ahmet
