We look forward to visiting Bacchus every year when we come to Milwaukee to see the Lakers play the Bucks. It's a fabulous experience! The service is outstanding & the food is the amazing!! We're looking forward to coming in again the next time we're in town. Thank you!!!
My husband and I just moved to Milwaukee, and we were delighted to find Bacchus. Milwaukee has a long list of great restaurants, but Bacchus has just topped our list of favorites as the ambiance was delightful, the food was amazing, and the service was fantastic.

Bacchus continues to be one of Milwaukee's two finest restaurants (along with Sanford D'Amato's "Sanford's"). The American-style haute cuisine is inventive, fresh, and never overdone. Start with the spinach salad accompanied with fried egg, or the wonderful Smithville blue cheese salad with fried pancetta and candied nuts. My husband and I took my parents here after a Christmas Carol for dinner and were very pleased. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable! A very romantic place with great ambiance.It's a bit spendy though for Milwaukee in my opinion. We were actually surprised at the prices, but still a great spot to go for a special occasion.

We love the ambiance and food at Bacchus. We were seated promptly and received water immediately but there was a noticeable lag before our waiter arrived to take our drink order. The salads and entrees were incredible. Only once wine glasses weren't filled when empty. All in all, a very memorable evening. Next best thing to dining in Chicago.
Will be an excellent place to recommend for a very special occasion once smoking is eliminated from the bar area. One patron at the bar smoking and it drifted into dining room. When I spend $300 to $400 for a dining experience this is unacceptable. Wisconsin goes smoke free July 2010, but until then exposure to second hand smoke is on the menu.
From the very start of our dining experience to the very end, everything about Bacchus -- the wonderful service (everyone from the valet and hostess to our fantastic servers), delicious food and classic decor -- was outstanding. We would dine there again in a heartbeat.
