I'd heard such good things about the service here but that was not our experience. Service was slow. Our meal was 3 hours. There were multiple times when we had finished one course and hadn't ordered the next. At the end of the evening, we noticed a table near us hand delivering the check back to our server to finalize. Not their best night.
Being a lover of food, the food was cooked perfectly today, not just right on but perfect. I also love the addition of the local produce and specialties made. That much more of a destination.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary and had a wonderful, romantic night. Our service was excellent, informative and entertaining - they even made a special dessert in our honor. Sharing a fine bottle of wine, we tried several of the small plates and the house special that day was amazing (sorry, but my words could never describe it properly).
We have visited other Bartollota restaurants in the past and had high expectations. Bacchus easily met and exceeded these. The food was outstanding and the serve staff friendly and knowledgeable adding to the experience. We highly recommend for a special occassion. They also have small plate options for appetizer/entrees.
The overall experience was wonderful. Service was excellent but not in your face. The sommelier service was the best I've ever had. Informative but not pretentious and she helped use select a bottle that complemented both of our dinners. Food matched the service. I don't often order steak at restaurants because I'm usually disappointed but this was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Wonderful! My 2nd time here was as fantastic as the first.
A sophisticated, aesthetically-pleasing environment (love the horizontal striped walls and leather seating!)that exudes class and elegance. Hard wood floors and high-heeled shoes combine to make a little noise, but not offensive. Service -- excellently done by knowledgeable, personable wait staff. The small plates are a great addition. You can build a unique, tasty meal that way!
Each course was expertly prepared with delicious flavor combinations. There is an outstanding selection of local cheeses, some rare and hard to find.
This new restaurant is a great dining experience. The food and service were above average. The view is magnificent
