Two staff members not too attentive. That and wrong temperature of the steak (extra Wagyu charge) made it just an average dinner out. Bolognese excellent, though.

I was so excited to dine here and it fell short. The food was mediocre, and the whole experience felt extremely rushed. We were here for an anniversary dinner and the whole thing was only a little over an hour. Dessert brought out before we had even finished our entrees fully. Duck dumplings were chewy and lacked any flavor at all. Servers were very nice though.

Arrived at Bacchus with no real expectations. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit confusing, but once we figured it out, upon entering, the restaurant and bar area are extremely elegant and beautiful. The food on the other hand, does not live up to the aesthetics. The first and main courses were both inedible given how heavy handed the chef was with the salt. And the desserts tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out, uncovered for a long while. The waitress also got our dessert selections incorrect but at that point... read more

The meal felt rushed. We made a late reservation and were told that the kitchen was closing in about 20 minutes after we sat down and were planning to enjoy the aperitif that we'd just been served. If you don't intend to allow for a leisurely paced meal, then don't offer reservation time slots just before you intend to start closing down the kitchen. The meal was too expensive to feel like we had to keep looking at the clock while we were eating it. Thanks for listening.

Bacchus of past years is gone. I do not like a tasting menu as an only option. The vegetarian menu was the same price as one with meat which does not make sense. The tuna appetizer was stringy, fatty and not enjoyable. Liked the salmon, but the main courses are not served with a side of vegetables, very sparse. Service was very good. So disappointed. Was celebrating a big birthday. In the future would choose a different restaurant. Not worth the $300 spent on this meal

We came for Easter Brunch. When I first made the reservation (early March), I did so because I reviewed the menu offerings and it all looked delicious. However, the menu changed, and I wasn't nearly as excited with the new dishes. Some of them felt "banquet like" (i.e. filet with mashed potatoes, salmon with asparagus). Overall, the food was just OK, but very overpriced for $65. The desserts were especially disappointing. The pear tart was overcooked and extremely dry and the caramel sauce with the monkey bread was burnt. Th... read more

Well, we dine at Bacchus every year for my wife's birthday. This year, unbeknown to us when we made the reservation there was a bourbon dinner in the main dining room. We were seated in the room just adjacent to the bar which is no problem normally. We have attended private parties in that room (weddings) in the past. It is light and often a fun room. This year they had plastic chairs for all the diners to sit on. I mean they were the typical outdoor, backyard plastic chairs. They were very uncomfortable, especially when you... read more

What a disappointment! We went here for their NYE meal at $150 a person it was NOT worth it. Let's start with the service. Supposedly they were working in "teams' for NYE. This meant random servers would walk by your table to help. This may make sense to the owners but this causes confusion for the customers!! I would tell one server one thing they would forget and another would come by so I would tell them the same thing then 20 min later they would both deliver on the request? Made no sense and was detrimental to the servi... read more

Wait 15 min after we were seated, had to tell the host we were forgotten about. Host said he’d comp our first drink and forgot about that too. Just not the same caliber of service Bacchus once was.
