The service was excellent. All of the entries were excellent. It was a memorable night for our family.
BACCHUS - My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. Fine Food, great service and elegant clientele. As a business traveller - 40 weeks a year - it is great to find a restaurant with fabulous food and a great staff!
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service my party and I received at your restaurant on Oct 27th.While the restaurant was not busy, the service we experienced was unacceptable, and I feel it is necessary to bring this to your attention. We were looking forward to a pleasant meal, but this experience was far from it. The poor quality of service impacted our entire dining experience.

The Bar staff, hostess and valet were great. Wait staff was so/so. No one checked to see how our meal was until we were nearly done. I ordered the Black Bass which was undercooked and not edible. The balance of the dish was over salted. My wife had the Venison which we liked very much.

My husband and I have shared our anniversary at Bacchus for many years. This year, the food was outstanding as always, but the service really lacked. The service staff was stressed and it showed. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or what, but it is a significant change from the past. This used to be a five star dining experience from the food to the service to the ambience and beyond. Disappointed with our visit based on other reviews noting delicious food and good service. Took nearly twenty minutes to even get our drinks or bread for the table, and the restaurant wasn’t any where near packed. Server suggested she would take drinks off the order, never happened. Sequencing of food felt off for the rest of the night. Salads came a bit after the drinks, ordered another set as main course arrived and they didn’t show up for a long time.
