Disappointed with our visit based on other reviews noting delicious food and good service. Service was poor (we didn’t receive dinner menus for 20 minutes, food orders weren’t placed until 30 minutes after seating as wait staff didn’t come by) and inconsistent either clearing plates promptly or starting to bring our next courses without having cleared our previous course. Overall felt like they were short staffed even with the dinning room only 1/3 of the way full. We did the 6 course tasting menu and had long waits in betwe... read more

Took nearly twenty minutes to even get our drinks or bread for the table, and the restaurant wasn’t any where near packed. Server suggested she would take drinks off the order, never happened. Sequencing of food felt off for the rest of the night. Salads came a bit after the drinks, ordered another set as main course arrived and they didn’t show up for a long time. Took awhile to clear the food and waited almost as long as the drinks for our desserts. Main waitress was very kind, felt like her help was MIA. Not at all what I... read more

Can no longer eat off of full menu at the bar. Server was slow … no knowledge of anything on the menu. So bright in the restaurant. Filet was covered in a sauce that completely ruined it. Add on of truffle was $60. It just wasn’t worth it. Bad service bad food …. Won’t go back.

This used to be one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee. I was very disappointed with the full tasting menu. The opening amuse-Bouche was bland and too much. The sauce on the octopus was out of balance and the octopus was tough. The scallops were not seared at all high enough temp. The bolegnese was completely lacking flavor - so much that I had to ask for salt. The sauce on the wagu was way too acidic. I have eaten high end restaurants around the world and this one certainly is no longer worth the price. I will say that th... read more

Good, but not amazing. I’ll give a little allowance for a full, busy restaurant on NYE, but they missed on service details, especially given the team service. For instance, no one ever checked to make sure our meals were satisfactory (one filet was medium, not m-rare as ordered), the bread plates and basket sat on the table until entrees were delivered, we refilled our own water to empty glasses twice. Not the end of the world, but WHY?? We had a nice time, but for the money, it was far from impeccable.

Service was slow and it was not busy. Host and bartenders were awesome. Food was okay.

Overpriced and pretentious. Won't be going back! Good service, though.

I was disappointed. Food wasn’t bad, but salty and just not special. High-end mediocre. Service wasn’t good. Annoying and inadequately trained. Servers should know what cheese is which in a cheese course and I was expecting some information about the cheeses.

This review comes with thought, not written in haste, and after a two-day reflection on our experience. For the select few who can appreciate and afford it, fine dining is an immersive and cherished experience. For others it is unattainable. For me, with friends in town from Europe, and as my wife and I celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary, it was a moment to appreciate (and yes, save up for). Without drowning this review in a personal narrative of disappointment, here is a bulleted list of why this experience was poor... read more
