I’d move the water holder past the booth to make it easier to leave the booth, I get like I was a gymnast tryna get out

Our 5 course pairing dinner fell short of our expectations. Food courses came out too fast, before we had the wine (which was underwhelming). Very little or no explanation of what dish was being served. Undercooked turnips (couldn’t cut them). Steaks were mixed up, I got someone else’s rare, they got my medium. Silverware was set on the table and pushed closer to us. Paul Bartolotta himself, was working this evening. He walked around the room and spoke with every table, except ours. Not sure why we were skipped. Won’t be goi... read more

Very disappointed that this beautiful restaurant now only offers prix fixed menu options. This is a HUGE disappointment. Their main course options are very limited. Our main entrees came out cold which is unacceptable at a restaurant of this level. I will say that they were quick to fix it. The food was okay, but nothing like it used to be from a taste perspective.

Waited for a drink at the bar and never was served. The main waiter was inattentive and icy, his trainee was very nice. Food was delicious but extremely small portions for the price. The wine flight was skimpy pours of inexpensive wines and one of our reds had sediment at the bottom of both glasses. No excuses....

I had reservations and they didn’t honor them. So had to eat at the bar. Great food but that was upsetting.

Had a very poor dinning experience at Bacchus on Valentine’s Day. Reached out about our experience and never received any follow up.

The issue i had was the rabbit. It was mushy. As Chef knows, rabbit has very little fat. If you cook it sous vide and then wrap it in pancetta and bake until the pancetta is crisp…you will end up with mushy rabbit

My husband and I were excited to try the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing for a date night. Going in, we were fine with the cost but were disappointed with how tiny the portions were once it started. The service was fast overall, but the wine pairings were not timed well with the food service. We also were given the wrong wine for our second course. The waitress gave us the same wine as the first course, but we didn't think to say anything after the notes were VERY different from how it was first described. We've done... read more
