One of our favorites, even when compared against the other amazing options in Bartolotta‘s exceptional fine dining options. The staff is always amazing and the food is delicious. We enjoy doing their chef’s tasting menus, experiencing the curated flavors. Their wine selection is by far the most comprehensive in the city, and one of the best I’ve seen and their sommelier is always incredibly helpful.
Bacchus is an outstanding but pricey restaurant. Everything from the venue to the staff and the food is of highest quality. Definately a place for special occasions or a date night.

This was our first meal at Bacchus and my wife and I couldn't have been happier with the food, service and ambiance, starting with a warm welcome from the staff up front. We each ordered the 3 course dinner, so 2 different apps, encores and deserts for a total of 6, and each dish was outstanding. I've never had better sword fish on any ocean or sea, so go figure it came on the shores of Lake Michigan! Great place beautiful food and attentive and appreciative service
Bartender took 15 minutes to bring our crafted cocktails. (He was spending his time taking care of a couple who were having dinner in the bar area.) Food was outstanding. Foie gras was superb. We brought 3 bottles of wine for our group of six. We thought $35/bottle corkage fee was high. (I had a $25 reward which turned out to be $25 off the cost of a bottle of wine, but they didn't take it off the corkage charges.) Service was slow. We had to track down our waiter a few time for service. Food was good. Ambience would have been nicer if they turned the lights down a little.
