July 29,2026 We had 14 of family in 4 vehicles. Most of the family said the rides were the highlight of their week in Estes. The staff in the office and at trailhead are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this adventure to anyone. We were fortunate to see two moose on the trail which I hear is not a common occurrence so we felt fortunate to see them.

This was my first time riding an e-bike. I truly in joyed it. The staff at BackBone are amazing. They explained how the bike worked and they wanted us to try it before we went on trail. They are professional, knowledgeable and super helpful. Pricing is reasonable too. I know they have other experiences to try, and when I come back I will do one of those. It was a 10 out of 10 for me. We even got ice cream from them at the end of our ride!

Wayne was an amazing tour guide! Super knowledgeable, great stories and music and kept 8 kids fully engaged the entire time. He was very patient with such a large group of people and mostly children.

The ride was gorgeous up through the mountains. Our guide provided a lot of information about the area we were traveling through, and was great with the kids, ages 6 and 8. It was their favorite activity on our trip.
