My daughter and I took an impromptu day out to Edinburgh by train. We remembered a recommendation for Badger and Co and placed a booking for late lunch. The space, food and service were incredible and we were delighted to have remembered this little gem. The ladies serving were so helpful with the menu as I have a dairy intolerance- I took them up on the recommended dish of chicken supreme. Food and ambience plus service were stellar. High quality creative food without the gimmicks. Excellent variety of vegetable dishes and tempura style battered fish and chips. Vegan tartar sauce was delicious.

Lovely evening at Badger & Co. Good cocktails, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Great service and lovely food. Staff were lovely in helping me with a birthday cake and balloons for the table. Will be returning next time we visit Edinburgh.

Having intolerances make it tricky to eat out. I’d added to my booking note about my intolerances and heard nothing. On arrival I was given two choices for main only. The kitchen didn’t seem keen to take items off main courses for me to be able to eat other mains. Pudding was amazing. Drinks tasty. Service good. Waiting staff were friendly and restaurant itself beautiful.

Food and service was amazing. Rhiannon our waitress gave great recommendations for bars afterwards and helped with choices during dinner. Would highly recommend this place for everyone.

Quirky ambience, Wind in the Willows touches but not kitch in any way. Staff are knowledgeable and unobtrusive. We had the small plates option, and everything was perfectly executed. Popular, so definitely need to book to avoid disappointment
