I have been in and out of Barathaven for almost 2 years now and I am very pleased with the overall care provided there. In the last several months, they have one of the strongest teams I have seen there and the quality of care is top notch. Their activities keep residents engaged and active and they even get the opportunity to go on outings about 2x a week. This community is the best for dementia and memory care in the area! The Barathaven staff has cared for both my parents. My dad has since passed away due to other medical problems. The staff is Awesome and has always provided compassionate & competent care to each of them. When my sister & I were no longer able to care for my parents in their home, Barathaven has proven to be an answer to our prayers. [name removed] passed away a couple of weeks after moving into Barathaven, but during that experience we got excellent care and service. Their kindness and following through with playing music that I had brought when I was not able to be there.

This facility is best for serving those with severe Alzheimer's and behavior problems. However they are under staffed currently. We have moved my father to a different facility.

I love the small size and the cleanliness of the facility. The location could be better. Overall very good for level of care she needed at the time. It's open and airy feeling. Some were more like prison wards.

Our family has had a very positive experience at Barathaven with our Mom. They have been very caring and compassionate with her every step of the way as she progresses through Alzheimer’s. They are gentle and patient with her. Our concerns are addressed quickly and the communication has been great. We highly recommend Barathaven for your loved one.

I was visiting. While walking around the building I saw a group of folks playing a Jenga style game. They were laughing, talking, interacting. They looked very happy and engaged with life and each other. It was truly an inspired moment.
