Prior to boarding at Bark and Board, I was boarding my dog Simon at a vet, thinking that he would be well cared for because was around vets that would take care of him if something happened. However, after boarding him there for 4 days, he got an awful UTI probably from not being taken out much. So I went hunting for a better boarding facility. We LOVE Bark and Board. A lot of kennels we've found to be small and a little chaotic. Our dog gets super nervous, and doesn't mix well with around other dogs. The first thing we noticed is the location is very spacious. Dogs aren't cramped in tiny spaces. That means a lot to us. Ronnie and Scott have built a really great place, and they bend over backwards to help accommodate our nervous lab. Im sorry.. the people were nice enough but they did a complete hack job on my puppy. They had me pay the balance after deposit first before seeing him and...... wow.... I know why. It's horrible. I explained what I wanted.. the layers I loved about my puppy's coat the fluffiness... and it's like they just shaved him and gave him back... no blending, not even.. no shaping. Really? Here's a confirmation showing our stay. This just reinforces my recommendation to avoid Bark and Board. Still no direct response to my emails that I have sent, perhaps I'll get one now that I've proven my dog was staying with you?

B&B advertises that you can watch your dog through their camera system. However, that camera system has not worked in months despite their website continuing to promote the feature. Of course the cost of those cameras is most certainly passed on to the customer by way of the boarding fee. Additionally, the camera service provider requires you to pay a separate fee to access the system. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!!!! My dog had a Appointment at 11:00 and I didn't get her back till almost 6:00 pm. When I came to pick her up they Botched my poor Luna haircut left her looking like a rat!!! I am furious and they still had the audacity to ask me to pay! Do Not Take Your Dog Here!!!!! Update to my previous review: Spoke with the "at the time" current GM Branden who assured me of their progress which worked out great for the last 3 months, he sat me down and apologized, was very kind and communication the steps taken to improve the matter at hand. Unfortunately now this location has decided to change GM's her name is Amanda and is the rudest person I've encountered in costumer service in all of Atlanta, it honest is that bad. SO DISAPPOINTED. I dropped my dog off for a reservation for standard boarding at Bark and Board and they told me they didn't have my reservation. I was sure that I made this reservation because I had to send updated vaccine records, which they confirmed they had and loaded into the system. They were able to take her luckily, but I don't know what I would've done if they were full. When I picked her up on Sunday, she was SOAKING WET and smelled disgusting. I boarded my dog Maybelle at the Westside location for 1 week, with a bath scheduled for the last day. When I picked her up, she had an eye infection, bloody scratches on her belly, bloody diarrhea for nearly 24 hours, and was covered head to toe in hives.
